ABOUT THE FOUNDER
Cape Town based Financial Management Consulting or FM Consult for short was founded by Walter Hartmann. He is a member of the South African Institute of Professional Accountants and a registered tax practitioner.
Walter previously headed the financial team of a national security distribution group. During his stint as Financial Manager from 2012 to 2016 the group saw massive growth in turnover resulting in major cash flow management requirements. Its also during this period that the group caught the eye of one of South Africa's wealthiest private investors who purchased shares within the group and in the process unlocking its true value and potential.
Its during this process that Walter identified the risk that almost all growing businesses face at one time or the other, the risk of inefficient and/or poor cash flow and resources management, especially owner run concerns due to the lack of knowledge and or time constraints in the financial administration function.
